Pipe Handlers
Secure clamping of rigid cylindrical loads
Pipe Handlers are designed for the secure, pallet-free handling of rigid, cylindrical objects, making them ideal for stacking, storing, and transporting construction steel pipes and cement pipes. These attachments provide robust clamping action, with specialised models available that include rotation and tilting functions to meet diverse operational demands.
A pipe handler clamps rigid cylindrical loads directly, so pipe can be picked out of a rack, carried and restacked without slings, cradles or a second machine. Arm profiles are matched to the diameter range, and specialised versions handle either a single large pipe or a bundle of smaller ones.
The attachment is specified where pipe is stored in volume — steel merchants, pipe plants, infrastructure contractors and yards feeding pipeline work. Rotation and tilting versions are available where pipe has to be presented at an angle for laying or coupling rather than simply moved.
Also known as: Pipe clamp · Tube handler · Cylindrical load clamp
Benefits
- Full steel structure provides high strength for demanding industrial operations
- Self-lubricating supports in arm movement areas ensure secure and reliable performance
- Special bushings at hinge points eliminate the need for periodic grease maintenance
- Specialised arm designs available for handling single or multiple pipes securely
Where it is used
- Steel and concrete pipe yards and pipe manufacturing plants
- Water, sewer and pipeline infrastructure contracts
- Steel merchants handling tube and section stock
- Storing and retrieving pipe from racking without slings

Capacities, jaw ranges and rotation are model-specific — the exact figures are confirmed against your truck and load when we quote.
Fits ISO Class II, III and IV fork carriages
In service on Toyota, Linde, Hyster, Jungheinrich, TCM, Manitou, JCB, Feeler, Yale and Komatsu trucks across the region.
- Hydraulic attachments run off the truck’s auxiliary services; where a truck has too few, an additional service or a solenoid selector can be fitted.
- Mechanical attachments slip over standard fork arms and need no hydraulic connection at all.
- Fitting an attachment changes the truck’s rated capacity, so the derated capacity plate is confirmed as part of the quote.
