Manufacturing Handling, Consumables & Tooling

A manufacturing plant buys from us on both axes at once: the attachment that feeds the line, and the consumables the line gets through every week.

Handling inside a plant is rarely palletised end to end. Product arrives crated, moves in bins or on soft pallets, gets clamped or inverted between operations and leaves boxed or wrapped. Fork clamps, rotators, hinged carriages and specialised clamps exist for exactly those steps — the ones where a plain pair of forks means somebody handles the product by hand.

The consumable side is where the account gets measured. Wire, rods, discs, burrs, cutting gas consumables, tools and PPE, quoted off a line list, delivered on a lead time that was confirmed rather than hoped for, and reordered against a reference instead of a fresh enquiry. Repeat lines stay on file precisely because a plant orders the same things every month.

Where the plant runs its own lift truck fleet, the attachment, the weighing system and the camera safety system can all be retrofitted to the trucks already on the floor, which keeps the improvement out of the capital cycle.

01What this sector brings us

The recurring problems

01

Product handled by hand between operations

Clamps, rotators and inverters take the manual step out of the transfer, which removes both the labour and the damage that came with it.

02

Consumable spend with no visibility

Line-list quoting and held repeat orders make the monthly consumable bill a comparable document instead of a series of unrelated purchases.

03

Trucks that are fine but slow

Positioners, side shifters and weighing systems retrofit to existing trucks, so cycle time improves without a fleet replacement.
